Board Leadership

Do you want to be part of a voice for sustainable economic development in the Copper River Region? The Copper River Watershed Project, an independent non-profit organization, is seeking two representatives of the Copper Basin to fill open seats on its Board of Directors. Click here for a full board member job description. Contact us if you would like to speak with a current board member about his or her experience serving as a CRWP board member.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are numerous ways to volunteer with the Copper River Watershed Project, from helping with membership mailings, to cutting or re-planting willows, clean-up events, recycling, or helping out at one of our many events.  Contact Kim to find out upcoming opportunities to get involved.

Attend an Event

The Copper River Watershed Projects hosts three events every year.  In the spring, we celebrate upriver in Glennallen and downriver in Cordova with the Wild Food Feasts.  In September, we gather in Cordova to celebrate the fall harvest with the Wild Harvest Feast.  In July, CRWP partners with other Cordova organizations to put on the Copper River Salmon Jam.
