Celebrate Earth Week in the Watershed

 In News

Amidst all the stress and strife associated with COVID-19, it can be hard to stay positive and to be thankful for what we do have. That’s why we are celebrating Earth Day for a full week at CRWP! The Earth does so much for us every day, and Earth Day is all about being thankful for the wonders of Earth and giving back. During Earth Week we would like to encourage you to get out and do something positive for the Earth, even if it is just a small thing like putting out a bird feeder, picking up a couple of pieces of litter, or planting seeds for a garden.

We invite you to join us in Earth Week celebrations by playing Earth Week Bingo. Earth-themed costumes are highly encouraged when playing Earth Week Bingo. Check off 5 boxes in a row to win a t-shirt or CRWP prize. Everyone that submits their bingo card, will be entered in a grand prize drawing for Boris the stuffed moose!

Boris the Moose was generously donated by COPE Books and Toys.

Only one bingo card per family will be entered into the grand prize drawing.

To play Earth Week Bingo:

  1. Print or take a picture of the bingo card (I took a screenshot of the card and then used the edit feature to check off the boxes).
  2. Do as many of the bingo activities as you can during Earth Week. April 22 – April 29, 2020.
  3. Check off the boxes as you complete activities.
  4. To submit your bingo card post your card along with any Earth Week photos on Facebook and tag @copperriver or on Instagram and tag @copperriverwatershed by midnight on April 29, 2020. You can also email your bingo card and photos to shae@copperriver.org. Prizes will be awarded on April 30th.
