City of Cordova Park and Recreation will be hosting the paddle races that commence at 2pm. There will be 1-mile or .5-mile paddle distances.
WHEN: Sunday, June 16, 1pm – 3pm
WHERE: Skater’s Cabin, Cordova Alaska
The paddle races will be hosted by City of Cordova Parks and Recreation.
- Two distances: 1-mile and 1/2 mile
- Race individually or with a partner in the same vessel (i.e. tandem kayak, 2-person canoe, etc.).

Minors are invited to participate with parental permission. Participants must sign a waiver and assume all risks for themselves. Lifejackets are required. Racers must provide their own vessels and lifejackets.
