This watershed is one of the last remaining intact wild salmon strongholds, which is why we work so hard to remove barriers to salmon migration, support healthy salmon habitat in ways like eradicating invasive plants and monitoring freshwater temperatures, and engaging youth in these stewardship opportunities when possible. There is no guarantee the Copper River watershed will remain intact in the future unless we all take action now to make it so.
It takes a watershed to raise a salmon and all hands on deck to keep the Copper River region thriving for fish and people. When you donate to CRWP, you are supporting stewardship work for a healthy watershed for the salmon and future generations.
