In her home community, Chistochina, she has led recycling efforts and presented many environmental education programs. Her efforts significantly contributed to the expansion and sustainability of the regional recycling transfer site, Recycling Our Area’s Resources, and she has diverted tons of electronics and hazardous materials from the landfill through electronic recycling efforts.
She is an agent of unity among diverse groups in the realm of environmental stewardship and has developed and implemented a wide variety of environmental education programs geared toward youth and teens throughout the region. Thanks Chantelle, for all you do to help protect the resources of the Copper Basin.
