The Copper River Watershed Project and partners have set-up a salmon tank in Cordova's Mt. Eccle's Elementary School. Third through fifth graders will study the salmon as they grow into fry that will be released in the spring. Check back for updates as our salmon grow! The Federal Subsistence Board is accepting applications through February 18, 2012 to fill seats on the 10 Subsistence Regional Advisory Council. Council membership appointments are for 1 to 3-year terms.

The Cordova Fungus Festival will take place from September 1-4, 2011. There will be workshops, forays, gourmet dining, and experts from the world of mushrooms. Especially those crazy Cordova Fungus Pluckers.
