Come be a part of history as Eyaks from all over the country return to the ancestral homeland...
August 17, 18, 19 Cordova, Alaska
This is the first gathering of its kind....traditions will be restored or re-invented....recordings from the elders will reveal new stories and the fish and forest ways of Eyak ancestors will be shared and honored.
This celebration is open to all Eyak descendants and their supporters at no charge, although we will happily accept your donations to help offset expenses.
The Eyak Preservation Council is offering organizational and logistic support and will supply many meals, local transportation, some lodging and will assist with housing and local motel accommodations.
An agenda is evolving and will be shared and updated to participants as they
get in touch and register.
