Join Cordova's 7th grade students as they share their experiences and lessons learned from their year-long study of Odiak Pond. Enjoy movies, see their trashy art, and listen to their stories about the water, bugs and fish of this small watershed located within Cordova city limits. Discover a few ways we all can live as better neighbors to the salmon and other critters that live in our community. Bring your own stories of Odiak Pond to share!

The 21st Annual Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival, May 5-8, will continue to include environmental education as well as showing our visitors the beauty and grandeur of Prince William Sound and the Copper River Delta. Our Keynote Speaker this year is Robert Bateman, a well known artist, naturalist and environmentalist.

CRWP is hosting the Wild Food Feast & Film Festival on April 9th at Glennallen. The event will take place at the American Legion hall, starting with the food feast at 5pm and the film festival opening at 7pm.
Copper River Delta Symposium (Cordova, AK, from Mar 22, 2011 08:30 AM to Mar 24, 2011 05:00 PM)
To better integrate current knowledge and plan future research efforts, the Copper River Delta Science Symposium will focus on the delta as a system, covering topics from hydrology and geomorphology to avian nesting ecology and trophic relationships. This conference will provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary examination of the delta and to identify future research needs to help manage and conserve this ecologically significant area in the face of climate change and other environmental transformations.
