Give a little extra through the Pick.Click.Give program

The Copper River Watershed Project is pleased to announce that we are part of the PFD Charitable Contributions Program for 2010. The Alaska Legislature passed a law in 2008 making this new way to give possible for all Alaskans filing for their PFD on-line. We are excited about the opportunity that it provides for all Alaskans to give to their favorite nonprofit organizations in a safe, secure and easy way. 

By giving through this program, you join others to become an important force in bettering our communities and our state. For those of you who already support Copper River Watershed Project, we appreciate your gifts and hope you will use this option to make an additional donation.

By giving throughout the year, you help ensure sufficient unrestricted funds are available to us in order to:

• respond quickly to political opportunities to promote citizen oversight of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline;
• complete on the ground habitat restoration or clean-up efforts when needed and at a time that is best to ensure we do not disturb the delicate salmon spawning cycle;
• convene informational gatherings when needed to keep residents informed as new issues arise that might disrupt the economies of the Copper River watershed.

There are three easy steps to participate:

1. After completing your online application for your PFD, you will see the option called “Pick.Click.Give.” Select this.
2. Search for us by choosing Judicial Region 3 and our name, Copper River Watershed Project. Click and follow the instructions to make a new donation, or an additional gift.
   
3. Please take the extra step you will see after you make your donation to provide your contact information to us. We want to acknowledge and recognize your generous support, and this is the only way we will know it’s you making the gift!
