Please join the Copper River Watershed Project as they lead a community discussion about local restoration efforts to restore fish habitat in Eyak Lake and nearby streams to increase salmon productivity. The discussion will cover 2010 restoration projects such as the culvert replacement project on Eccles Creek and Whiskey Creek, removal of the spit on Power Creek Road inhibiting circulation patterns in Eyak Lake, and revegetation projects along the lake.
The discussion will also cover future restoration projects such as relocating the public boat ramp, installing an oil & grit separator at the storm drain culvert west of Nirvana Park, and prioritizing culverts throughout the Copper River Watershed Project.
